Boat Jib Crane

A heavy-duty boat jib crane engineered for marine and shipyard operations — delivering up to 40T capacity, 360° rotation, and radio remote control in one reliable lifting solution.

  • Capacity: 20T – 40T
  • Boom Length: 9,100 – 10,300 mm
  • Lifting Height: 7,000 – 7,450 mm

Boat Jib Crane for Shipyard & Marine Operations

Our boat jib crane is a freestanding pillar crane designed specifically for marine and shipyard lifting operations. Available in 20T, 30T, and 40T capacities, it offers boom lengths up to 10,300mm and lifting heights up to 7,450mm — built to reach across and into most commercial vessel profiles.

This boat jib crane is the go-to solution for shipyards, dry docks, port maintenance zones, and vessel repair facilities. In these environments, fixed overhead cranes can’t always reach where you need them, and mobile equipment struggles with stability near water. It fills that gap — a fixed, high-capacity crane that covers a wide working radius without taking up excessive floor space.

360° rotation and radio remote control come standard, giving operators precise load control from a safe distance. Optional galvanized structure protects against saltwater corrosion for long-term coastal use.

Product Advantages

  • 360° Full Rotation: Freely swing loads across the entire working radius without repositioning the base
  • Capacity up to 40T: Three models (20T, 30T, 40T) to match your actual operational load requirements
  • Radio Remote Control: Standard on all models for safe, precise load control from a distance
  • Corrosion-Resistant Options: Optional galvanized frame and coating for long-term coastal and offshore use
  • Flexible Lifting Speed: 1.0 or 3.5 m/min dual-speed options for precise control over every lift
  • JB/T8906-2014 Compliant: Manufactured to Chinese national jib crane standard for safety and reliability

Boat Jib Crane Applications

Shipyard Assembly & Maintenance Handling heavy structural components, engines, and hull parts during vessel construction and scheduled maintenance cycles.

Dry Dock Operations Precise load positioning in confined dry dock environments where overhead cranes cannot reach and mobile equipment lacks stability.

Port & Dock Facilities Reliable dockside lifting for routine equipment handling, cargo positioning, and maintenance tasks at busy commercial port facilities.

Vessel Repair & Refit Yards Supporting overhaul and refit operations where technicians need consistent, controllable lifting access across the full vessel profile.

FAQ

Engineered Strength, Global Crane Supplier
How to Choose the Suitable Type of Jib Cranes?

A: There are several types jib crane, pillar mounted, wall mounted, wall travelling, portable type and articulating type. Your may tell us your working condition, lifting material, arm length and lifting height. We could offer you a satisfying solution to meet your needs.

How to decide the cantilever length and rotation radius?

A: The cantilever length needs to be determined based on the layout of work space and lifting range (e.g. a long and narrow workshop may require a 10-meter cantilever jib crane).
Insufficient rotation radius may lead to limited operation, and needs to be selected in combination with on-site measurement data.

How long does installation take?

Installation is quick and simple, usually completed within a few hours without special tools.
