In July 2024, Voitto received an equipment procurement email from Brazil a steel structure manufacturer. The customer had an outdoor material yard primarily used for storing steel structures, components, and finished products. They planned to purchase a 10 ton gantry crane for lifting and stacking steel structure materials. After initial communication with the customer and understanding of various detailed parameters, our technical team quickly developed a solution for the customer.

Project Challenges

After understanding the customer’s site and working environment, we faced the following challenges:

  • Outdoor Environment: The customer’s location is humid all year round, which places extremely high demands on the equipment’s corrosion resistance.
  • Uneven Ground: The outdoor yard ground is uneven, so the gantry crane track needs to be designed specially.
  • Frequent Lifting: The factory operates multiple shifts daily, placing extremely high demands on equipment stability, continuous operation, and ease of maintenance.

Based on the customer’s needs and site conditions, our technical team provided a customized 10-ton double-girder gantry crane solution. The main details are as follows:

  • Structural Design: The 10 ton gantry crane features a box-type main beam structure with high strength and good rigidity, and can maintain stable operation even under large spans and frequent operations.
  • Anti-corrosion and Anti-rust Treatment: The whole machine has been treated with multiple layers of anti-corrosion spray paint and hot-dip galvanizing.
  • Track Design: Voitto designed an adjustable track foundation solution, and we also provided track-laying guidance services.
  • Energy-saving Control System: Voitto crane manufacturer is equipped with a variable frequency speed control system, which enables smooth start and stop and energy-saving operation, effectively reducing energy consumption and mechanical impact.
  • Safety Device: The equipment is equipped with an intelligent control module, allowing customers to monitor the crane’s operating status and maintenance data in real time.

After the project was confirmed, our factory arranged the order as soon as possible and started to produce the 10 ton gantry crane. The factory completed the 10-ton double-girder gantry crane as scheduled.

The entire project, from design and manufacturing to delivery, took 65 days. After the equipment arrived in Brazil by sea, Voitto’s technical team provided remote guidance on installation and commissioning, and arranged for technicians to be on call 24 hours a day to promptly answer customer questions.

The customer put the equipment into operation immediately after installation and commissioning. After using it for a while, they gave our gantry crane a high evaluation.
