In September 2025, VOITTO Crane received an email inquiring about 2 ton portable gantry crane. This client is from Mexico and operates a small parts manufacturing factory, primarily involved in the processing and assembly of metal parts. With the increasing number of orders from the client’s factory, the existing simple lifting equipment could no longer meet production requirements.

The client decided to invest in a lifting solution that low-cost, flexible, and did not require complex civil engineering modifications for lifting and transporting molds and heavy components within the workshop.

Project Challenges

We communicated with our clients to understand their working environment and usage requirements. Therefore, we will face numerous challenges:

  • Limited Factory Space: The workshop’s ceiling height and span are restricted, preventing the installation of fixed lifting equipment.
  • Frequent Movement of Workstations: The production line requires frequent adjustments, so the lifting equipment needs highly mobile and flexible.
  • Low Budget: The client is sensitive to procurement costs and subsequent maintenance expenses.
  • Compliance With Local Regulations: The equipment must meet local industrial electricity standards.
  • Heavy-duty Components: The weight of the parts ranges from 0.5 tons to 2 tons. Therefore, the equipment’s load capacity must be greater than or equal to two tons.

Before shipment, we conduct a comprehensive inspection of the equipment and verify each item against the parts list. Considering the longer shipping times for overseas transport, we use a multi-layer packaging solution that is moisture-proof, shockproof, and impact-resistant, and we independently label the core components. This ensures that the equipment remains in perfect condition during long-distance sea transport.

Equipment Implementation Results and Customer Feedback

After receiving the 2 ton portable gantry crane, the customer completed the installation and commissioning in a short time and immediately put the equipment into production. The portable gantry crane effectively solved the problems of frequent mold changes and the handling of heavy parts. Users can perform operations independently, significantly improving production efficiency while reducing safety risks.

Project leader Sebastián stated, “This portable gantry crane is cost-effective, easy to operate, and highly versatile, perfectly meeting our production needs.” The client has already planned to purchase the same type of equipment again for other workstations in their future expansion projects.
